We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Litigation Attorney to join a boutique practice in Arlington, Virginia. This role will require a deep understanding of construction law and the construction industry. This position requires at least 2 years of Construction Litigation experience with the willingness to go to the office 5 days a week.
This is a fully on-site opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Handle construction contracts and construction law matters
- Negotiate construction contracts
- Handle matters involving client disputes, breach of contract, surety bond and mechanic lien claims as it relates to construction agreements
- Handle construction litigation cases, providing expert legal advice and support
- Develop and implement legal strategies in construction litigation cases
- Research and analyze complex legal issues related to construction litigation
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Represent clients in court and before government agencies
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients involved in construction disputes
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction law
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all dealings
- Actively participate in professional development activities to constantly improve skills and stay updated on developments in the field.
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of experience in Construction Litigation

- Proven track record of representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents and advising clients on legal transactions
- Ability to develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
