Program Administrator, AIM

Overview:

The Program Administrator will manage the logistical day to day operations of the program. Responsible for project coordination, fiscal management, administrative management, implementation, and reporting of project activities. Provide professional expertise including clinical input and apply departmental and organizational policies and procedures to positively influence the outcome of the program and the department.

In collaboration with AIM leadership, manage projects and identify opportunities to support best practices that make birth safer, improve maternal health outcomes and save lives.

Note: This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Technical Assistance (TA) Center activities including developing new and updating existing resources and providing clinical review and input.
  • Ensure program compliance with federal regulations and grant management policy.
  • Monitor, document progress on, and assist in execution of vendor, consultant, and partner contracts with ACOG’s Legal, Finance, and Compliance departments.
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with external and internal partners and curate maternal health resources and strategies for dissemination of program materials. Work with other ACOG staff to create, track, and manage appropriate agreements and contracts with outside partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop best practices, communication strategies and explore new formats for dissemination of program materials.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for planning the AIM Annual Meeting, as well as other educational offerings and assigned meetings, including meeting planning and logistics, coordinating timelines, assembling agenda materials, developing and distributing related minutes, reports, and updates.
  • Monitor program activities to ensure quality and accuracy of work outcomes with contractual and grant commitments. Meet deliverables, develop website products, execute work plans, projects, and assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Coordinate the work of consultants, vendors, staff, and others involved in the development and implementation of activities, materials, and events including literature review, video, and online
course development and production, and marketing and promotion campaign planning and execution. •Monitor and track project deadlines, work plans, evaluations, submissions, and status updatesand assist in drafting program proposals and reports.
Report any noted issues to leadership.
  • Track, monitor and maintain expenditures and process invoices as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be a team player and have a high sense of urgency and the ability to pivot as priorities areredirected.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize and implementmultiple projects, and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners. Ability to workwith diverse teams.
  • Strong organization skills and close attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage completion of tasks with limited supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong, working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook,Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher).
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in nursing and/or public health.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
  • Healthcare clinical experience required; licensed RN preferred.
  • Project management experience in medical, public health, or clinical content development preferred.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, ACOG offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes the perks outlined below.
