The Principal, Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading the implementation of Workday solutions across the organization. This role involves managing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday implementations, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the support team, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll Get To::

  • Manage the Workday (HCM) technology roadmap and support the day-to-day initiatives.
  • Managing or migrating from SuccessFactors and ICIMS Platform.
  • Manage integration of global Payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now & CloudPay.
  • Provide scope, scale, and design of detailed technology solutions for specific HR business needs.
  • Deploy configuration changes. Engineer and successfully test, implement, and transition new Workday applications, configurations, and solutions to production.
  • Manage and execute the daily workflow for the HR Operations team, ensuring quality of work and timely completion of HRIS related assignments and initiatives.
  • Serve as Human Resources process improvement advocate.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and Payroll counterparts on understanding security roles, integrations, and other shared systems.
  • Oversee testing of new system features and releases with IT and Payroll counterparts.
  • Support Workday technology upgrades - support assessing impact of new Workday features, coordinating rollout with project teams and business leaders, as needed.
  • Assist with daily (Workday) operational support.
  • Proactively direct projects, project risks/issues and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Complete projects and achieve results in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Communicate effectively and manage Workday project stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Advise and support Human Resources Team on technical issues relating to Workday HRIS database and applications.
  • Communicate status and key business information effectively to leadership and internal customers.
  • Act as liaison and subject matter expert between HR, IT, Payroll/Finance, and other departments.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and HR regulations while monitoring the Workday Roadmap.
  • Serve as mentor to assist in team member development.

What You'll Bring::

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills and knowledge required.
  • 10+ years of HRIS technical experience. Must have extensive experience and working knowledge related to Workday and Workday Prism, system design, Workday calculated fields, complex Workday configurations, business processes, dashboard development. Strong reporting skills are needed.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Workday ecosystem, implementing or operating Workday HCM
  • Additional extensive working knowledge of Workday: HCM, Recruitment, Compensation.
  • Working knowledge with Workday Adaptive is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of broad Human Resource systems and data flow.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and team standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with multiple business partners.
  • Able to recommend and make decisions, while balancing business requirements, internal project timelines and technology roadmaps. Embrace innovation by seeking new or contrary ideas/approaches to what has been done in the past.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with both technical and functional users.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Workday implementation and project management.
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, and others.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading Workday implementation projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Workday certification is a plus.

Salary Range:: USD $139,000.00 - USD $173,000.00
