Floater Pharmacist
Responsibilities:
The Floater Pharmacist packages and dispenses prescribed drugs in a clinic environment and handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.
This is a full-time opportunity that will require to "float" between our three pharmacy locations in Austin, TX (101 W. Koenig Lane + 2800 S. I-35 Frontage Rd + 3100 Red River St.)- All locations are clinic-based, and the pharmacy hours of operation will vary.
About the Role:
- Manage pharmacy operations and maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services while filling in for the PIC
- Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
- Direct activities and workflow efficiency of the pharmacy staff
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
- Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
- Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Uphold a clean, customer-friendly workplace, and always project a professional and positive attitude
- Perform in accordance with company policies and standards, as well as the spirit of the Company's core values and goals

- Tues: 9AM - 5:30PM, Wed
- Thurs: 9AM
- 8:30PM, Fri: 9AM
-5:30PM & Sat: 9AM-1PM.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university
- Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of TX
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program
- 1+ year of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred
- 340B experience preferred
- AAHIVP certification preferred
- Certifications in different areas of Pharmacy a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer skills with the ability to type 30+ wpm
- Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
- Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment
