Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our EHS team, you will support compliance obligations across the site and ensure that equipment is safe for operation. The designated employee:

  • Supports all Company Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
  • Completes weekly collection of hazardous waste and conduct inspections of collection areas
  • Conducts annual chemical inventory across all site
  • Maintains SDS database and enter new SDS’s as received
  • Acts as POC and escort for EHS contractors and vendors
  • Assist with instructing EHS training programs to promote safety, proficiency and awareness throughout the Company
  • Maintains the EHS and Industrial Hygiene calibration program
  • Provides support to EHS committees and actively participates on each of the teams
  • Conduct periodic inspections of the Medical Center, AED’s, fall protection equipment, first aid kits, eyewashes, safety showers, fire extinguishers, ladders, SPCC kits, etc.
  • Assist with various Industrial Hygiene sampling activities
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school or Trade School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year working in EHS position or relevant coursework
  • Must be PC literate, knowledgeable of applicable software programs, such as Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lab Pack or Chemical Waste handling a plus
  • Active HAZWOPER license
  • Fork Truck or Operator’s License is a plus

  • Carrying up to 25lbs.
  • Wear a fall protection harness
Salary Range: $26.38 - $32.59 per hour. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
