Estimated Duration: Start Date: February 17, 2025 End Date: August 16, 2025

Work Location: Hybrid - New York, NY 3 days per week in the office, 2 days remote
Work Schedule: Normal EST Business Hours, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $80.07 - $106.31 per hour

Project Overview

The Digital Buildings Team, part of Technical Infrastructure team within the Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) organization, is responsible for strategy and implementation of IoT and digital building infrastructure across workplace buildings.

This team leads and contributes significantly to the BOS (Building Operating System) Program, smart buildings platform. As the BOS Program moves towards scaling across real estate portfolio, there is a short- to medium-term need to run pilot projects demonstrating value.

Overall Responsibilities

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will work under the Digital Systems Team Leader to develop and direct ‘Proof of Value’ projects in London and New York, along with other smart building pilot projects.

The TPM will be responsible for:

  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Setting measurable project targets
  • Leading vendor teams to project completion
  • Acting as a point of escalation for teams
  • Problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Managing procurement of required project resources

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities

This role requires both strategic long-term planning and day-to-day tactical execution.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Proactive Engagement with Stakeholders
  2. Ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  3. Proactive Vendor Engagement & Progress Assessment
  4. Track vendor progress against agreed targets.
  5. Address issues, escalate problems, and provide solutions.
  6. Process Improvement & Reporting
  7. Identify opportunities to enhance project velocity and value.
  8. Provide regular status updates to the Digital Systems Team Leader.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the role or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of program management experience in a technical portfolio with cross-functional and outsourced teams.
  • Proven track record managing real estate technology programs across multiple geographies to meet defined timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
  • Procurement and vendor negotiation experience, including managed service delivery.
  • Background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cybersecurity, or energy management.
Non-Essential (Preferred) Skills/Qualifications
  • Industry certification in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cybersecurity, or energy management.
  • Experience delivering technology and infrastructure solutions in corporate real estate across multiple locations.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, resource management, task prioritization, and scheduling.
  • Proven ability to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.

Pay Details: $87.00 to $106.00 per hour
