Job Title: Oracle Financials Technical Consultant
Location: Albany, NY

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Financials Technical Consultant to provide technical oversight and support across multiple projects, including post-production support for Enterprise Systems, Grants Management, and financial transaction systems.

The consultant will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and daily operations of critical financial systems, maintaining system interfaces, and supporting financial operations continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight for Oracle Financials and integration with various financial systems to ensure accurate daily processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintain and manage daily interfaces between Oracle Financials, Grants Management Systems (GMS), Grants Gateway, and the Statewide Financial Management System (SFS).
  • Manage two-way financial transaction interfaces, including Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), and General Ledger (GL) journal entries.
  • Support integration of AP and PO modules with the Kofax Markview document management system.
  • Develop and maintain Accounts Payable and Purchasing workflows within Oracle Financials ERP.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of financial applications, including revenue processing from State Civil Fingerprint Processing systems.
  • Provide database administration support for Oracle Financials, ensuring smooth operation of databases and schemas.
  • Oversee CommVault backups and the cloning of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite from production to development/testing environments.
  • Coordinate server patching schedules for AIX O/S, ensuring post-patching functionality.
  • Manage Kofax MarkView document management system and implement enhancements like Kofax Import Connector (KIC) folder options.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support server upgrades, system maintenance, and software updates.
  • Work with Kofax Markview support teams to troubleshoot and upgrade applications to meet compatibility requirements.
  • Administer user roles, profiles, and workload management tools within the Kofax Markview system.

Mandatory Minimum Technical Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience developing applications using Oracle Forms, Reports, and Database.
  • 6 years of experience with Oracle Applications Suite (11.5.10.2, R12.X) modules such as PO, AP, AR, and GL.
  • 5 years of experience modifying custom libraries, PL/SQL reports, and forms in Oracle applications.
  • 3 years of experience with New York State customizations for Oracle Financials, including managing interfaces for PO, AP, AR, and GL.
  • 5 years of experience using Workflow Builder, including customization and document approval hierarchies for purchase requisitions and invoices.
  • 3 years of experience working with State Civil Fingerprint Processing systems, NYS Grants Management System (GMS), and PDOI interfaces.
  • 5 years of experience in database administration for Oracle Financials, including managing ASM tablespaces and disk allocations.
  • Experience using CommVault software for cloning Oracle EBS from backups.
  • Experience coordinating database upgrades and server patching for AIX O/S.
  • 5 years of experience maintaining Kofax MarkView integrated with Oracle Financials.
  • Experience implementing Kofax Import Connector (KIC) folder options for document scanning workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with server administration teams to support system maintenance and upgrades for Kofax MarkView and related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and upgrading Kofax MarkView software to ensure compatibility with Oracle EBS, Linux O/S, and Java versions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Oracle Financials and document management systems.
  • Experience working with state government agencies and their financial systems.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, transaction processing, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams.
