Part-Time Group Leader - 21st Century After School Program

Location: Grace A. Dunn Middle School or Joyce Kilmer Middle School, Trenton, New JerseyLength of Assignment: Each School Calendar Year
Schedule: 02:30PM to 05:30PM or 3:00PM - 6:00PM depending on school hours
Salary Range: $20.00 per hourQualifications: High School Diploma/GED Required
The Group Leader will assist students in homework support, test preparation, and individual and group activities.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide homework assistance
- Assist in implementing activities
- Assist in classroom management
- Assist in maintaining program space
- Maintain student safety and provide a supportive learning environment
- Participate in staff development workshops and attend staff meetings
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Work Experience Requirement: Must have experience working with children and effective classroom management skills.
Qualified candidates must consent to and meet the pre-employment screening requirements for the NJ Department of Human Services Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) Background Check, Criminal History Background Check, and Drug Screening.
