Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable/receivable, contribution records, bank deposits.
  • Compliance with all Archdiocesan financial policies and financial record keeping
  • Personnel files and Payroll Administration
  • Collaborate with parish Accountant and Archdiocese for financial operations.
  • Provide general office support, including managing technology needs and passwords and offering assistance as needed.
  • Apply for and report on multiple fundraising operations. (10/26 update)
  • Participate as active member of Pastoral Council including Evening Meetings (weeknight at 6:30 to 8:30 pm, 8 times per year) (10/26 update)
  • Assist with all-day Saturday fundraiser (Tricky Tray) on date to be determined. (10/26 update)
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Prior experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance is preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate. (Intuit QuickBooks is our bookkeeping software)
  • Fluency required in Microsoft Word (at minimum). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS-Office software is a plus.
  • Fluency required in email correspondence, communication, and internet searches.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Office hours: Approximately 15 hours per week (weekdays, daytime), with potential for growth over time. Specific working days and hours are negotiable.
  • Wages: $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
