Located in a state-of-the-art 80,000 sq. ft. hangar at Niagara Falls International Airport (KIAG), our Flight Operations Team is a full-service flight test organization dedicated to turning bold ideas into reality. With a fleet of jet-powered airborne test beds, our team of experimental test pilots, engineers, mechanics, and technicians work together to support cutting-edge flight research projects.
We’re looking for an innovative and driven Electrical Engineer to play a key role in researching, designing, testing, and developing electrical equipment and systems interfaces.

Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities Listed Below – Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.- Perform electrical design and engineering work associated with aircraft modifications, along with ground and flight testing, typically culminating with civilian or DoD flight test programs.
- Produce and maintain engineering data and/or drawings, including circuit design layouts, custom electronic enclosure designs, and power analyses.
- Produce technical documentation, including project plans, definition of system requirements, ground and flight test plans and results, and related technical reports.
- Provide engineering support to aircraft technicians for the fabrication, installation, and testing of custom cabling and electronics.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in circuit design or;
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
- Electrical/Electronic engineering methods.
- Perform complex analog circuit design.
- Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
- Technical report writing – including test plans and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a US government security clearance

The salary range provided is a general guideline. Actual pay will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and other applicable qualifications. Calspan is committed to pay transparency in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

Salary Range (min): USD $83,000.00/Yr.
Salary Range (max): USD $110,000.00/Yr.
