Opto Engineering United States is currently looking for an Application Engineer.

The resource will report hierarchically to the Sales Director and will be coordinated by the Application Engineering Manager.

Additionally, the resource will work closely with the Sales, R&D and Product Management departments to manage requests and facilitate the sale of component bundles using Opto Engineering's products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collect and process the technical needs of the customer and the sales and solve the problems promptly
• Perform feasibility studies in lab
• Provide technical training to the sales and to the customers about products and their applications
• Cooperate with the sales force in communications with the customers and negotiation of our applications
• Share customers and market feedback with the Strategic Marketing and the R&D about products and applications

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Physics
• Strong communication, presentation and synthesis skills
• Ability to organize and manage time and priorities
• experience in developing vision systems, including both hardware and software are considered a plus
• Coding Skills in C++, C# or other coding languages are very appreciated.
• Attention to the details, interpersonal skills, team working and diplomacy complete the profile.
