Assistant Civil Engineer
L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified individuals for potential assignment as an Assistant Civil Engineer. -Perform and conduct field surveys and prepare field survey reports-Monitor construction field work by contractors ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specification and approve shop drawings-Utilize web-based document management protocols to maintain all project submittals and correspondences-Review and mark-up construction submittals-Perform the following tasks, including, but not limited to:-site inspections-ascend and descend ladders and stairs-work on elevated platforms and scaffolds-stand for extended periods-work outdoors in all weather conditions , in subway tunnels and stations environments, etc.-Under supervision of the Project Manager, participate in preparing and reviewing payments, AWOs, daily reports
