We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the supply chain industry, based in Louisville, Kentucky. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced office environment where you will primarily be responsible for inventory management and customer service.

• Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock information.
• Provide backup for customer service tasks, primarily via email correspondence.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for weekly reporting to customers.
• Act as a liaison between departments, facilitating clear and efficient communication.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including the creation of pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Apply analytical skills to review and interpret data, optimizing inventory processes.
• Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues without direct supervision.
• Handle sensitive information and records with attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to perform cycle counts accurately.
• Proven experience in assisting customers and providing excellent service.
• Proficiency in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in a similar role within an inventory or warehouse setting is desirable.
