Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking an Administrative/Accounting Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for receptionist duties, data entry, basic accounting support, and providing backup to the contract administrator. This opportunity is for a family-owned commercial general contractor and provides competitive benefits, including: 100% paid healthcare premium for employee/spouse/family, 401K with 3% employer contribution, vacation pay, sick pay, holidays and an onsite gym.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking front desk duties, including managing light calls
  • Providing proficient data entry with high levels of accuracy in the ERP system
  • Assisting with basic accounting tasks, such as debits/credits, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) data entry
  • Serving as a backup to the contract administrator, with training provided as necessary
  • Utilizing Administrative Office skills and Basic Office Skills to perform duties efficiently
  • Leveraging skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Data Entry

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes ideal
  • Familiarity with ERP software
  • Previous experience in an Administrative support role
  • Demonstrated Basic Office Skills
  • Knowledge of standard Receptionist Duties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
