Concierge - Weekend Graveyard
Overview:
Lantower Luxury Living is growing, and we are currently hiring for a hands-on Concierge to work the lobby main entrance desk and ensure resident satisfaction for South Side on Lamar, a Class A apartment community near downtown Dallas. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers and working with an all-star team!
Responsibilities:
- Welcome residents, prospects and guests upon entrance to the building.
- Communications with the Leasing Office Management Team ensure that a consistent delivery of service is being delivered to residents and guests.
- Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
- Strictly enforces the privacy and confidentiality of all guests.
- Ensures the shift checklist is completed.
- Answers the phone to assure guest preferences are met and amenities provided. Processes guests’ requests and records such as amenity bookings, guest suite bookings, freight elevator bookings, package delivery, service requests, vendor assistance etc.
- Serves as a public relations representative. Exhibits a professional demeanor and willingness to assist guests and management, as requested.
- Maintains all departmental assets and ensures that all items are cleaned, checked out, and returned to the appropriate storage area.
- Informs the Management team of all pertinent information related to the department and reports irregularities and problems as they occur along with recommendations for solutions.
- Notifies Manager and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged thefts. Responds to emergency situations as necessary and as directed.
- Oversees the key log for check out and check ins for guests, residents, vendors, housekeepers etc.
- Performs various administrative tasks and other job-related duties as assigned.
Shift: Saturday & Sunday - 12am - 8 am
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required. A college degree is a plus.
- 1-2 years of previous customer service experience and/or training. Exposure to Class A properties is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to be a strong team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of Publisher, Picture Manager, Real Page and OPS is a plus.
- Capable of collecting and processing information skillfully, multitasking and meeting deadlines in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must be able to tour the community with potential residents, which includes walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs.
