Automation Test Engineer

Overview:

BigBear.ai is seeking a Automation Test Engineer to support the ongoing modernization and maintenance of CBP information systems, using JAVA/JEE.

What you will do:

• Writing and Maintaining Automation Scripts: Developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Test Execution and Reporting: Running automated tests, analyzing results, and generating test reports to identify defects, providing feedback to the development team
• Collaborating with Developers: Communicating with developers to understand new features, discuss test cases, and troubleshoot automation script failures or bugs
• Improving Test Automation Frameworks: Continuously improving and optimizing the test automation framework, ensuring it's scalable, maintainable, and supports new features or changes in the application

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT field and 2 to 5 years of experience
• Selenium Expertise: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and creating automation scripts in languages like Java, Python, or C#
• Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) and experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
• Test Automation Frameworks: Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Page Object Model)
• Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git for version control and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
• Web Technologies & API Testing: Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for web elements and experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
