Accounting Manager

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Princeton, New Jersey.

Key responsibilities:

• Directing the month-end close process and ensuring accuracy in financial reports.
• investment accounting and analysis
• Overseeing the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Supervising investment accounting activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Overseeing billing functions, ensuring accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting managerial role, preferably within the Reinsurance/Lloyds Markets industry.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Must be competent in all Accounting Functions.
• The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and management.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to think analytically.
• A relevant professional accounting qualification is required.
• Must be able to adhere to strict confidentiality policies and handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
