Job Description

The Quality Manager - Aerospace will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee the implementation, certification, and maintenance of the QMS in accordance with AS9100 standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aerospace regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).
• Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, including inspectors, auditors, and engineers.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Provide training to staff on quality processes and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformities.
• Develop and implement quality inspection processes and testing methods.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
• Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification).
• Interface with customers and regulatory agencies regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Maintain a database of quality metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Manage supplier qualification, monitoring, and development processes.
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Quality Manager - Aerospace will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the aerospace or Automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA/EASA regulations, and other aerospace quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with ERP and QMS software.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

• Base Salary of $110,000-$145,000 depending on experience
