Surfaces Product Designer

We are in search of a Surfaces Product Designer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Surfaces Product Designer, you will be conducting research, developing new product designs and patterns, and collaborating with various teams to promote and improve our products.
This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative surface products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on market and design trends, competitor's design, and customer requirements for our products.
- Develop new product designs and patterns for HI-MACS and Viatera, considering the analysis of market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop prototypes and evaluate test samples.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to provide relevant trends and create sales tools for new product launches.
- Present design and trend proposals to customers at internal and external events.
- Improve existing products based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Assist in the development of innovative production technology to enhance the design and manufacturability of new products.
- Collaborate with design leadership to evolve our design process, ensuring consistency and quality in all our products.
- Lead on outsourced designs, communicating effectively with overseas suppliers and vendors, and reviewing and evaluating lab samples and color matching.
- Create Design Rationale and Presentations for new design launches to support marketing and sales efforts. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surfaces Product Designer or in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling is mandatory.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications are expected.
- Demonstrable expertise in Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a must.
- Skilled use of Adobe Photoshop is expected.
- Experience with the About Time software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies is essential.
- Strong Brand Awareness and ability to contribute to brand development.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, with a focus on satisfaction and retention.
