We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling inbound calls, providing top-notch customer service, and maintaining accurate data entry. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is based in a call center environment within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive customer relationships
- Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Accurately enter data and maintain customer credit records, ensuring the information is up-to-date and accessible
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
- Conduct insurance verifications for customers, confirming the accuracy of their medical insurance information
- Process order entries promptly and correctly
- Navigate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage customer data and correspondence
- Handle both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring effective communication with customers
- Utilize Durable Medical Equipment (DME) knowledge to assist and educate customers. • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional call center customer service
- Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring speed and accuracy
- Experience in managing email correspondence in a prompt and professional manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and documentation
- Ability to perform order entries accurately and efficiently
- Experience in insurance verifications, particularly in the context of medical insurance
- Familiarity with verifying Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in insurance contexts
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and software applications.
