Endpoint and Hosting Security Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Managing EL IT security posture improvement.
  • Performing solution architecture reviews and guiding security risk assessments.
  • Providing security recommendations and guidance for the business.
  • Assessing projects and applications from a security perspective.
  • Vulnerability Management and finding remediation.
  • IS Crisis management and Cyber Resilience for EL.
  • Information Security dashboards and reporting.

Qualifications for the role
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or bachelor's degree program in Information Systems or Information Security in the United States.
  • Good knowledge about risk assessments and systems architecture or willingness to learn and implement.
  • Good technical knowledge about security domains, architecture and assessment.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
