- Fri)Nights 11:45p
- 8a (Mon - Fri)Fri & Sat overnight call required for all positions.Key Responsibilities for a General Sonographer:Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them.Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.Qualifications for a General Sonographer:Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Abdominal [RDMS (AB)] certification is required within one year of hire.Preferably 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician (not mandatory).Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and equipment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
