AZAD is seeking an Interim Telemetry Nurse Manager for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, California.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday
Assignment Duration: 6+ Months

Compensation & Benefits: $700 daily rate, plus daily stipends (7 days/week) including $183 Lodging, $74 Meals, and $50 Auto/Transportation. Weekly Compensation (including stipends) is $5,649. Benefits include Paid Sick Time, Paid Holiday, Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

Position Summary / Essential Functions:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations, leadership, and management of the unit. This position serves as a bridge to ensure continuity of care and leadership during a transitional period. The manager will oversee clinical staff, patient care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing practices in a fast-paced environment.

The Interim Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain operational excellence and patient satisfaction while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Oversee the daily operations of the telemetry unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.

Provide leadership to nursing staff, promoting a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work culture.

Act as a role model and resource for clinical and professional development.

Address and resolve staff concerns, promoting open communication.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory guidelines.

Monitor and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality telemetry care.

Actively engage in patient care rounds, assessing quality, safety, and patient outcomes.

Address patient and family concerns promptly and compassionately.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Evaluate and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage while adhering to budget constraints.

Oversee the onboarding and orientation of new nurses and staff to the telemetry unit.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, unit performance metrics, and compliance reports.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care.

Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to nurses to advance their skills and clinical competencies.

Facilitate continuing education and certification opportunities for telemetry staff.

Support nursing research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in a Med Surg / Tele setting.

BLS Certification required.
