Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Security to join our growing team. Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Sr. Director, Security will be responsible for leading the total asset protection including people, classified information and materials, intellectual and physical property for the company.

This role encompasses leadership of the security and safety needs at Terran Orbital. The two main day-to-day operations is overseeing the Premise security team and Program Management security.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creating a vision and outlining goals for the common operation and alignment of safety and security at Terran Orbital.
  • Oversite of physical security, access control, security investigations, visitor management, and contracted guards.
  • Leadership of the Program Security team entails safety of all U.S. Government requirements surrounding classified or sensitive work.
  • Ensuring company personnel hold the appropriately required security clearances, securing sensitive information and material to deliver the product to our U.S. Government customers, operating the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), understanding of the classified computer network(s) needed for development and communication within customer channel(s).
  • Ability to run business operations smoothly with no to minimal impacts
  • Management of budgets and resources

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership skills over people or projects
  • Knowledge of security protocols, processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of specific restrictions to ensure sensitive information and material stays within the allotted confines.
  • Creation and execution of a security operations plan.
  • Proven capabilities to run a security organization during times of change.
  • Ability to demonstrate use of cultural imperatives of integrity, accountability, inclusion and innovation.
  • Known security certifications and relevant trainings.
  • Currently held or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Salary Range $175,000-$225,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
