AP Staff Accountant

We are seeking an AP Staff Accountant to join our team in the Non-Profit sector, based in Fairfax, Virginia. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing various accounting functions, including the processing of invoices, expense reports, and travel advances, as well as providing support to the Accounts Payable Department.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, check requests, and expense reports accurately and efficiently
• Provide vital support to the Accounts Payable Department
• Perform check processing, verification, and filing tasks
• Review and verify invoices and check requests for compliance and accuracy
• Ensure all expenditures comply with 1099 regulations, multi-state sales, and use tax laws
• Maintain proper approval and coding for all expenditures
• Use Dynamics and other accounting software systems for various accounting functions
• Implement ERP Solutions and Concur for effective accounting operations
• Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Conduct auditing tasks as part of the role
• Manage billing functions with precision and accuracy
• Operate Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for efficient accounting operations.
• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for the role
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Ability to use Concur is necessary for the job
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is crucial
• Proficiency in performing Accounting Functions is required
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must
• Capability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Experience in Auditing is essential for the role
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required
• Familiarity with Business Central 365 is a must
• Experience with Finance & Operations 365 is necessary for the job
