We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of paralegal experience, ideally with a background in litigation, who can hit the ground running. Your ability to manage case files, draft legal documents, and conduct legal research will be critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist two attorneys with calendaring, reviewing documents, and managing case-related tasks.
  • Follow the attorney's work closely to ensure all deadlines and legal requirements are met.
  • Provide support for commercial construction litigation cases.
  • Maintain organization and proper documentation of all case files.
  • Coordinate with attorneys in Georgia as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on litigation (5 years preferred).
  • Organizational and Multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document review.

Salary:

  • At least $60k/year for candidates with less experience.
  • Up to $90k/year for highly experienced candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the calendar for attorneys.
  • Document review and summarization.
  • Drafting discovery requests or pleadings.
  • Filing pleadings with the appropriate court.
  • Organizing and maintaining document productions.
  • Reviewing document productions.
  • Creating case chronologies.
  • Preparing evidence and or exhibits for trial arbitration/mediation.
  • Scheduling court reporters, process servers, etc.
  • Proofread Attorney work.
  • Running conflict checks.
  • Preparing billings and invoices.
  • Communicating with clients, other attorneys and court staff.
  • Opening new matters.
  • Preparing exhibits for depositions.
