Position Summary:
Were seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team and lead the way in expanding StudyCorgis digital presence. As part of our mission to assist students, youll create and manage engaging content that showcases our resources, builds our online community, and drives meaningful conversations across platforms.

This is a fully remote role offering flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with StudyCorgis mission and target audience.
  • Identify opportunities to promote our free essay database, academic blog, and writing tools to a global audience.
Content Creation & Management
  • Plan, create, and curate engaging content, including posts, videos, stories, and infographics, tailored to platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality postings.
  • Collaborate with the academic and blog teams to highlight key resources and updates.
Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain an active and supportive online community by responding to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly.
  • Engage with students, educators, and followers through discussions, polls, contests, and campaigns.
  • Leverage user-generated content and testimonials to build trust and authenticity.
Analytics & Optimization
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Generate monthly reports with actionable insights to improve engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns to align with audience preferences.
Trend Spotting & Innovation
  • Stay on top of trends in education, social media, and digital marketing to keep StudyCorgis brand fresh and relevant.
  • Experiment with innovative content formats and platform features to maximize impact.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the education or edtech industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an ability to craft content that speaks directly to students and educators.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and using analytics tools to guide strategy.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently in a remote work environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads).
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro) for creating short-form videos.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and collaborations.
