Systems Engineer III

Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer III to join a well-known successful company in California. This is an 100% onsite role working from out office in Irvine, CA. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level systems while leading complex projects and providing technical expertise to support the organization’s growth.
Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure across various locations. Manage Active Directory, including GPOs, multi-site replication, and security enhancements. Oversee the migration to Microsoft 365 and ensure integration with on-premises systems.
Plan disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for data centers. Provide Tier 3 support for complex technical issues. Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure improvements and technology adoption. Research and recommend new technologies to enhance system performance and security.
Document systems architecture and disaster recovery plans. Mentor entry level engineers and foster their detail oriented development. Must-Have: 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure. Expertise in VMware/Hyper-V (virtualization), Windows Server, and Active Directory.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft 365 and Azure AD. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience with networking and security best practices.
