About The Function:

Kreischer Miller continues to prosper and grow! With approximately 280 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add a Senior Analyst to our outstanding Business Advisory team. This position primarily entails a mixture of transaction advisory services, business valuations, and financial analysis.

This position will serve as a key member of the Business Advisory team and report to the Director leading the group which has high visibility to all leadership team members.

Transaction advisory services include assisting mid-market companies in evaluating and analyzing acquisition opportunities. These assignments generally result in the preparation of a quality of earnings report, which validates the company earnings and addresses other risks which may be associated with an acquisition.

In addition, transaction advisory services are also provided to businesses who are looking to sell. Sell-side services generally revolve around assisting owners and management with preparing their financial reporting and accounting records in anticipation of the business going out to market and ensures it will stand up against the buyers' financial due diligence procedures.

Business valuation services consist of a wide variety of opportunities including:

  • Assisting owners and management in understanding the value of a company for future sale purposes.
  • Preparing valuations for estate planning or ownership gifting purposes.
  • Determining the appropriate share price for stock-based compensation purposes.
  • Evaluate the proper valuation formula for other long-term compensation plans which are tied to company value.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform corporate valuations, including analysis of discounted cash flows, capitalization of earnings, comparable companies, merger and acquisition transactions, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, and stock option analysis
  • Prepare quality of earnings analysis
  • Assist on due diligence engagements
  • Assist privately-held business owners regarding to ownership transition needs involving management buyouts, family transition, third-party sales or ESOP transactions.
  • Prepare written valuation reports or summary presentations for clients
  • Work directly with external auditors on specific valuation related questions
  • Develop client interaction and participating in client meetings
  • Work closely with the practice leader in key business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • BS degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or other related discipline
  • 2-4 years of recent public accounting audit or valuation experience, a professional designation a plus (CPA, CVA, ABV, CEIV)
  • Strong commitment to excellence, client service and professional growth
  • The ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues as well as offering potential solutions
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and clients
  • Ability to develop/train staff and build teams
  • Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Be a team player and motivated to work in a fast paced environment
  • A strong ability to understand the “big picture” quickly, identify key issues, and prioritize analysis / output among many competing tasks
