What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Marketing Activation Coordinator to support the mission of the University. This position will support the Division of Marketing and Communications. The Marketing Activation Coordinator position serves the internal, production, logistics and event needs of the department by providing diverse and strategic duties, including preparing, producing and deploying materials, installations, activations and other projects that advance and support the priorities of the University.

This position also provides support to the Office of the Vice President by assisting with internal facility, administrative and manual tasks that may arise.

A High School Diploma and one year of relevant work experience is required. A Bachelor’s Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. A valid United States Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
  • Plan, design and support production of 3D and 2D environmental/experiential design elements, lighting and audio/visual solutions for key marketing-led events in collaboration with the Senior Director and Director of the department
  • Install design elements that support marketing initiatives on campus
  • Work with the Office of the Vice President for Marketing and Communication's administrative team to perform various operational tasks
  • Run errands and perform other jobs as assigned such as,
  • Maintaining inventory of marketing activation assets, equipment and material
  • Keeping equipment and inventory organized and in operational order
  • Setting up departmental events and activations locally and remotely
  • Monitor and oversee the planning, maintenance and repair of various assets for the Division of Marketing and Communications
  • Provide strategic and logistical support for events and activations planned under the Division of Marketing and Communications and provide on-site expertise during events
  • Participate in delivery, installation, rigging and strike of environmental design elements and support event technical production needs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable use of hand tools, like saws
  • Experience and comfortability in climbing ladders
  • Painting
  • Ability to lift heavy weighted objects
