General Manager-Freight Forwarding& Logistics

About Our Client

Our client is a well established freight forwarding business with multiple offices in Greater China.

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop, refine, and drive other key strategic initiatives for the company, prioritizing the establishment and operation of e-commerce-related logistics businesses.
• Lead the sales team and efforts, encompassing all direct customer sales in China and the United States.
• Collaborate with the President in maintaining and developing relationships with US agents and direct customers.
• Reporting and Governance:
• Report progress on key strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors and Shareholders.
• Provide direct reports to the President of the company on a regular basis.
• M&A and Integration:
• Work closely with the President and CFO to identify, execute, and integrate bolt-on acquisitions that generate synergies and enhance the company's capabilities.
• Operational Support:
• Support the operations and procurement team in maintaining strong relationships with global and regional carriers.

• Experience:
• Relevant experience in e-commerce logistics is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven management and leadership skills with a track record of success in similar roles.
• Business Development:
• Ability to bring existing e-commerce clients to the company would be a significant advantage.
• Skills and Attributes:
• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets.
• A keen understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
