This patient services coordinator manages the outpatient therapy referrals for our wheelchair seating and mobiility clinic. They coordinate visits with FirstHealth therapists and outside wheelchair vendors.
Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification/preauthorization, collections and scheduling in an outpatient healthcare setting. If you excel at multi-tasking, prioritizing job duties, and are very organized, then this job may be for you.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma. College level classes and/or experience in a healthcare office setting are preferred. Our rehab team is looking for someone who learns quickly and adapts well to fluctuations in workload. Superior customer service and communication skills are essential.
