Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled full stack developer to join our team. As a full stack developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain our suite of mobile and web applications. This entails actively participating in the software design and architecture, as well as participating in the implementation and upkeep.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a wide range of technical expertise and a desire for continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean and consistent code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using a variety of technologies and libraries.
- Design relational data models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment.
- Collaborate closely with our product and design team to build and enhance Impact Suite’s portfolio of applications and websites.
Skills Required:
- Proficient with basic web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Proficient with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
- Experience with modern web architectures, specifically REST
- Experience with popular web frameworks/platforms preferably: Rails, React, Express, or Prisma
- Experience with version control (specifically git)
Bonus Skills:
- Being familiar with both OOP and Functional Programming paradigms
- Being familiar with mobile development and modern mobile frameworks, specifically Flutter
- Being familiar with AWS or other cloud services
- Being familiar with agile development methodologies
