SUPERVISOR, CUSTOMER SERVICE
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic leader who is customer service driven to lead and engage their team while delivering exceptional customer service. This key leadership position reports to the Regional Manager and will collaborate with the internal operations team to meet day-to-day work as well as project deliverables; this position will also interact will contractors, various legislative bodies, municipal agencies and businesses within the service territory.This position is responsible for external customer communications as well as resolving escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely manner to achieve customer satisfaction. This experienced leader will provide training and coaching to foster employee development and maintain a skilled workforce, as well as effectively work with their team to develop process improvements and efficiencies.
To meet the needs of our bilingual customers, this position must be fluent in both French and English.
In addition to having the above experience and skills, the ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven leadership experience supervising in a unionized environment.
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, marketing, operations, and/or human resources; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) would be considered an asset.
- Proven exceptional customer service skills, with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to manage customer expectations and concerns, as well as proven conflict resolution skills.
- Previous experience working in a utility environment and an understanding of the Ontario Energy Board and Ontario’s electricity market would be considered an
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications; previous experience with SAP is an
- Must possess and maintain in good standing a valid Ontario “G” driver’s license with a clean driving abstract, as travel to other FortisOntario business units may be required.
