Returns & Restock Supervisor

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Pharmacy Returns and Restock Supervisor Technician to join our PharmScript team within our Floor Technician department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the company standards are maintained, and product integrity is preserved while processing returned prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator.They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing returned medications from facility for credit or destruction
- Control daily workflow for all returning meds and segregate accordingly
- Restock all reusable meds back onto the pharmacy flow
- Coordinate with billing for all returning meds that have “no history” and segregate accordingly
- Communication with 3rd party company for all hazardous disposals
- Keep an inventory of all supplies and communicate departmental needs with non-pharma team
- Coordinate all reverse distributor inventories to be sent out for credit
- Assist in pharmacy wide Quarterly Inventory counts
- Prepare monthly and weekly task schedule
- Submit payroll for all staff in this department and monitor ADP activity
- Manage the stability of the workflow to keep volume steady
- Carry out all tasks as directed by Managers
- Enforcing Company Policies and Implementing new procedures
- Monitor all technician activities and ensure all are consistently working/completing their daily tasks
- Training new employee- Ensure all new employees are following their training program
- Prepare productivity reports for each employee
- Coaching, Counseling and Disciplining employees
- Ensure that suitable equipment and techniques are utilize
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 or more year of long-term care or retail pharmacy experience
- Someone reliable and will be able to work during inclement weather
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in applicable State

- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
- May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
