Registered Nurse (RN) - Float - RNF24-15087

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) as a float nurse. This position requires flexibility to cover both the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and CCU as needed. The RN will care for patients, including those with COVID-19, and will ensure high standards of patient care in a Level 4 Trauma Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the CCU and float to IMCU and other units as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions, including telemetry and critical care needs.
• Manage patient assignments with a typical ratio of 1:2 (up to 1:3 for telemetry patients).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Sorian EMR.
• Participate in patient education and support families through care processes.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of current CCU experience required.

Flexibility:

• Must be willing to cover IMCU and medical/surgical units as needed.

Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred.
