Job Overview:
Adecco is looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading, receiving, and dispatching materials while adhering to strict safety protocols and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will combine technical skills with effective teamwork, overseeing inventory management, vendor relationships, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Material Handling:
  • Unload incoming shipments, ensuring proper inspection, labeling, and storage of materials.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch materials to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficient storage and easy access.
  1. Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  1. Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to shipments or orders.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners to support smooth operations.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Engage in regular team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges related to warehouse operations.
  • Work closely with team members to optimize workflow, solve problems, and achieve departmental goals.
  1. Office Tools & Documentation:
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel to manage schedules, track shipments, and maintain inventory records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing materials, as well as cycle count results.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse experience or similar physical labor role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and warehouse best practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions when applicable.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
