The chosen candidate will provide support on various projects, so the ability to adapt and prioritize projects is essential. The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral and important part of the team and the projects they will support.
The ideal candidate is capable of working independently or collaboratively on complex software solutions that satisfy project goals and customer needs. This includes both software development and integrating software with system hardware to provide needed capabilities and features.The ideal candidate's ability to learn about and apply radar principles is a key factor in successfully meeting our customer commitments.

Requirements- 10-15 years of related software development experience, specifically C/C++.
- Experience working with Embedded and or Real Time systems, specifically DoD sensor equipment.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Experience integrating software and hardware real-time systems.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
- Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Due to the nature of the work, all activity is 100% on-site.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems for advanced radar and threat simulator systems.
- Ensure the software meets the high standards required for DoD and other U.S. Government agencies.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Effectively balance multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities to meet project goals and timelines.
- Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation of the overall system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve system integration goals.
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying areas for improvement, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Provide support on various projects, working closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software systems, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and regulations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge, and apply new insights to improve software systems.
- Travel as necessary (5 - 20%) to meet customer needs and maintain strong customer relationship.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $195,000 annually.
