We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our manufacturing team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Shipping & Packaging:

Prepare and package products for shipment according to company guidelines. Ensure that all items are correctly labeled, sealed, and ready for transport.

Order Processing:

Verify and process orders for shipment, ensuring that all necessary paperwork, shipping labels, and documentation are completed accurately.

Inventory Management:

Assist with inventory checks and ensure that stock levels are accurate. Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the warehouse manager.

Coordinate Shipments:

Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight companies). Ensure timely dispatch and resolve any issues that may arise.

Shipping Documentation:

Prepare and maintain shipping logs, receipts, and other relevant paperwork. Ensure that all records are kept up to date for tracking purposes.

Quality Control:

Inspect outgoing shipments for any damage or missing items. Ensure that all orders are complete and in good condition before shipment.

Customer Service Support:

Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping status, delivery times, and any shipping issues. Work with the customer service team to resolve shipping-related concerns.

Maintain Cleanliness & Safety:

Ensure the shipping area is kept clean and organized. Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
