Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry, based in Davie, Florida, for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor. This role will involve overseeing the company's accounting functions, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported, and managing risk and compliance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
• Manage risk and compliance processes within the department, ensuring all activities adhere to the company's policies and standards
• Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they effectively carry out their duties
• Oversee the preparation and processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary to reflect changes in customer's credit status
• Use Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported
• Oversee the company's billing functions, ensuring all invoices are accurately prepared and sent out in a timely manner
• Conduct audits to assess the accuracy of the company's financial records, identifying and correcting errors where necessary
• Use financial tools such as ADP
• Financial Services, BlackLine, and Concur to manage financial data and processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine software
• Knowledge in Concur expense management software
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Ability to manage various accounting functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge in auditing procedures
• Ability to manage and oversee billing functions.
