Injection Molding Process Engineer
Permanent Position: Process Engineer opening in the greater Hartford area, CT for a mid-sized parts and assemblies manufacturer. the ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipment.
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial or other Engineering discipline
- 2+ years process engineering experience (Plastic Injection Mold, metal stamping, or micromachining processes)
- Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing experience
- Mechanical experience with injection mold machinery and tooling.
- Ability to work on-site daily with the production team and engineering teams

responsibilities:
- Process improvement projects to improve efficiency through set-up time reduction, run rate improvement, and machine uptime for Injection Mold, metal stamping, or micromachining.
- Analyze close tolerance tooling and suggest improvements
- Supports root cause analysis for customers (8D/s)
- Leads continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean
