Quality Inspector Aerospace

The inspector is responsible for performing final and in-inspection to aerospace parts against a customer's or internal blue print.

Compensation: $18-22

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Inspect In-process parts and fully machined parts with standard tools.
• Perform first part inspections.
• Interpret job router/manufacturing order.
• Perform verifications of part identification and configurations.
• Arrange inspection queues to identify work priority.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming product.
• Able to be trained on GD&T.
• Use basic inspection tools such as surface plates, micrometers, height gages, etc. to inspect parts.
• Perform full first article inspection.
• Basic part transport.
• Interpret certifications.
• Perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Maintain area cleanliness and organization within 6S initiative.
• Comply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules (e.g., Quality and Safety).
• Observe all company policies and procedures.
• In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
