Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician III directly assists the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory performing quality assurance activities and other duties as assigned.
Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution, including sterile compounding.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current California Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required
- National board certification for Pharmacy Technicians within ninety (90) days of hire
- Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution including sterile compounding.

- Computer skills
- Ability to work independently with good organizational and project management skills
