Preventative Care Dental Hygienist

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from a Dental Hygiene Program
• Current NYS license/registration as a Dental Hygienist
• Two years of clinical experience in dental hygiene
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
• Strong patient education and communication skills

Duties:

• Conduct patient assessments and provide preventative treatments
• Perform cleanings, scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications
• Take and review digital X-rays for treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide if certified

Pay: $50/hr to $55/hr
