Our client is a leading general contractor, based in the heart of Atlanta. They have created a strong reputation for them selves in several sectors of commercial construction including K12 Education, Retail, and Light Industrial within the Atlanta market.

Job Description
  • Oversee the entire construction process of ground-up K12 school projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports, to keep stakeholders informed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project objectives and expectations.

The Successful Applicant
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in construction principles and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrates a track record of successfully managing ground-up K12 School projects, showcasing expertise in overseeing complex builds from inception to completion.
  • Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success and compliance with standards.
  • Shows proficiency in project management tools and software, adept at scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes while adhering to strict timelines and budgets.
  • Displays a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic construction environment.
