This role is set up to grow quickly within the organization.
Job Description- Assist the Controller in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis and variance reports.
- Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Strong Cost Accounting experience
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
