Job Purpose
The Investment Operations Associate will be responsible for organizing and processing manager data including monthly asset values and performance data for the numerous family investment entities and their foundations.
Responsibilities- Private Equity Administration - process capital calls and distributions; enter transactions into the performance database, coordinate timely payment of capital call obligations with the various family offices.
- Support monthly and quarterly performance and accounting activities for various asset classes (equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity funds).
- Will be responsible for centralizing communications from fund managers and initiating the workflows and processes related to our document management system.
- Cash management duties – monitor cash flows, prepare cash projections and reconciliations.
- Conduct portfolio analysis including geographic, sector and currency exposures; fund versus benchmark performance and risk analysis; as well as portfolio asset allocation.
- Assist with the quarterly reporting package for each client.
- Candidates should be analytically and technically sound with knowledge of financial markets and some knowledge of investment management operations.
- Support Financial Reporting managers as needed with ad-hoc client reporting or analysis requests.
- Maintain a key focus on process management and quality control.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years investment performance measurement or accounting experience, preferably in the investment or financial services industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels.
