Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in New York. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, lead a team of software engineers, and manage project timelines. You will also be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable solutions using various technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
- Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
- Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions using Node.js, React, PostGreSQL, Apollo GraphQL, AWS, and Docker
- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer credit records
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously evaluate and improve the development process, tools, and technologies used by the team
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
- Use your skills in Database, API Development, CSS, React, Node.js, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, MySQL PostgreSQL to enhance our software solutions.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Demonstrable skills in Database management
- Proficiency in API Development is required
- Strong knowledge and experience in using CSS
- Proficiency in React and Node.js is necessary
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a must
- Familiarity with Docker is essential
- Proficiency in MySQL PostgreSQL is required
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
