Summary
The Data Operations Manager will oversee the management and optimization of data processes and reporting systems. This role ensures the efficient operation of data workflows, maintains database integrity, and automates reporting to support business functions.Collaborating with the Deputy CIO, the manager will focus on high-quality data analysis and continuous improvement, serving as a link between technical infrastructure and business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily data processes and report generation.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data systems.
- Optimize databases to support enterprise operations.
- Implement automation to improve data management efficiency.
- Resolve escalated data-related issues from teams and clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create custom data solutions.
- Manage the delivery of regular and ad hoc reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Align data processes with organizational goals.
- Maintain vendor relationships to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Mentor and develop data professionals for operational excellence.
- Foster a collaborative, data-driven team culture.
- Implement changes with minimal disruption to operations.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements.
- Experience with database systems, automation tools, and reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in leading or mentoring teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Five (5) years of experience in data management, reporting, or operations.
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
