Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45 am – 4:30 pm, with a 45-minute lunch
Remote or in-person requirements: In person at minimum 2 days a weekLocation: 280 State Drive Waterbury, VT 05676
Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $22.49
General Overview:
Support a busy Clinical Unit with clerical and paraprofessional work.
One main role for this candidate is to process medical and dental prior authorization requests into multiple systems to support a medical necessity determination by clinical staff. This process includes data entry and data abstraction. Other administrative tasks performed will be responding to faxes, emails, phone calls, form development, and capturing meeting minutes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR an associate's degree or higher AND two (2) years or more of experience of administrative work in an office setting, such as complex data entry and data retrieval from multiple systems, customer service, triaging phone calls, taking minutes, and scheduling meetings.Effective written and oral communication. Microsoft knowledge.
